The sooner you come to our pharmacy to take the morning after pill, the greater the chances of avoiding pregnancy.
If the Pharmacist feels like EllaOne or Levonelle 1500 (Levonorgestrel) are not suitable for you, they will not give you the morning after pill, but advise you to see your health care professional.

We will require your BMI and for you to bring your most recent Blood Pressure reading to the consultation. To be eligible you must be either taking the combined oral contraceptive (COC)from menarche up to and including 49 years of age or the progestogen only pill (POP) from menarche up to and including 54 years of age. This service is also available for those who wish to start new oral contraception for the first time or needs to restart oral contraception following a pill free break. If you wish to start or change your method to one that is not oral contraception then you would not be eligible for this service. This service helps to protect against getting shingles. This is a private service and the cost is £225 per dose. It’s suitable for adults aged 18 and over (subject to availability).
